Applications for this category of membership must satisfy the following:

• Must have passed the Institute’s Accounting Technician Diploma final examinations or equivalent.
• Must have gained a minimum of 250 working days relevant practical experience accumulated over a period of 2 years.
• Must submit a comprehensive record of practical experience.
• Must complete an appropriate membership application form duly signed by two members of the Institute and submit it together with a reference letter from the current or most recent employer. Download application form.
• Must submit copies of accounting professional certificates certified as genuine copies by a member of the Institute or Commissioner for Oaths.
• Must pay the applicable membership application fees
